Catherine van der Meulen
Catherine has extensive experience in fashion branding, transformation and strategy, hailing from an entrepreneurial family business background, in which her father founded the iconic Australian youth brand SUPRÉ. Inspired by her parent’s pioneering spirit in reinventing the fashionscape, Catherine joined the company in 1997 as part of the Sales and Development division. Not one to shy from challenge, Catherine entered the SUPRÉ fold during a financially tumultuous period during which the brand entered voluntary administration. During this time she put her business aptitude to work and devised strategies aimed at driving a complete business turnaround. Her objectives were realised and soon rewarded when she helped steer the brand into the next stage of the business cycle.
Her passion for transformation of the Australian retail and fashionscape was manifested in the birth of THiNK Consulting Group and it’s core values of believing in and implementing retail and fashion business turnaround through sustainable business models designed to educate, engage and spark innovation to drive change and re shape the organisation to create positive social, environmental and financial impact.
Catherine joined Inside Retail and Octomedia in 2015 with a focus on retail education, retail relations and building sustainable retail organisations for the future through strategic partnerships.
