Over 250 people from across the retail and e-commerce industries came together for the launch party of Internet Retailing’s 2017 Top 50 People in E-Commerce and to celebrate leaders who made it to the list, last February 28.
Internet Retailing founder Mark Freidin and editor Heather McIlvaine opened the event and explained the selection process of 50 people from over 150 candidates.

To celebrate their success with everyone, three of the named Top 50 shared “one retail idea worth spreading”.
Lana Hopkins, CEO and founder of Mon Purse, revealed why digitally native brands are the future of retail; Jason Kencevski, CEO of Speedmaster, outlined his strategy for global growth; and Julie Mathers, CEO and founder of Flora & Fauna, explained how she gained loyal customers by being a responsible retailer.
The rest of the night was filled with flowing drinks and canapés plus entertainment to boot!
